Day one

We pick you up at one of our pick-up points in the Glasgow area starting at 8.30am to start your shopping experience. You will travel on our luxurious coach to picturesque Perthshire where the House of Bruar nestles in the countryside 10 miles north of Pitlochry. Your travelling time will be approximately 2 hours, plenty of time to take in and enjoy the scenery.

We will be stop on route in the historic Bannockburn district, steeped in Scottish legend where Robert the Bruce staged an epic battle. There you can marvel at the immense statue of the man himself, and enjoy a breakfast tea in the museums tea room. When we continue our journey, we will be passing through Stirling and Dunblane before stopping off again in the city of Perth for lunch. There you can enjoy the diverse shopping experience it has to offer, or just take in the sights and smells of the ancient city, maybe even grab a bite to eat.

House of Bruar! It boasts some of Scotland’s finest produce, clothing and rural artwork. Within its walls you will find items ranging from traditional Scottish Tweed to cashmere jumpers and food hampers. There really is something for everyone, and it’s well worth a visit if you want to be sure of getting a garment that’s really something special.

And if you appreciate the beauty of nature as portrayed in the gallery, don’t forget to explore the magnificent Falls of Bruar with it’s spectacular tumbling waterfalls.

There really is something for everyone! Menswear, Ladieswear, knitwear, shoes and handbags, Country living and a food hall that’s sure to appeal to the foodie inside you. You can lunch at the Rod and Reel restaurant, or one of the tea rooms. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange a packed lunch for you to enjoy in the scenic surroundings.

Just remember, the Scottish climate is temperamental, so it’s not a good idea in inclement weather. Our coach has plenty of luggage space, so feel free to load yourself up with shopping. If you do intend to buy very bulky items, then please speak to your driver, in order that he can check that there is plenty of space to transport your precious purchase home.

We will be heading home at 5pm, after your exhausting, and rewarding, day of shopping, so you can get home in plenty of time to enjoy a blether about your trip and to peruse your purchases before flopping into bed..
